Airplane history:
The Sopwith Camel was the most famous British fighter plane in World War I.
Used from June 1917, it served until January 1920 and was the biplane for the British armed forces.
It was also the deadliest fighter plane in World War I, with over 3,000 enemy aircraft shot down.
The majority of the aircraft's weight is positioned in the front part , which made the biplane very easy to maneuver, but also very intolerant of pilot misbehavior.
Scope of delivery:
The scope of delivery includes the following parts:
- 3 x balsa wood sheets, 1 x plywood sheet
- 1 x carbon rod, 1 x hinge fleece, 2 x rubber jacket for wheels, 1 x shrink tube
- 30 x micro screws, 8 x mini magnet
- 1 x covering material (Japanese paper, 17gr per m²)
- Decoration for the perfect standing model: 1 x sticker set, 1 x 3D pilot to paint yourself, 1 x wooden propeller to build yourself, 1 x model airplane wheels (2 pieces)
