Which adhesive is used for construction?

Superglue preferred.
Wood glue is possible without any problems.
Epoxy resin must be used according to the instructions in the assembly manual.

What kind of rubber bands are used (Slow Flyer landing gear)?

Accepted Answer

Normal household rubber bands. But be careful: don't put too much tension on them. Danger of breakage!

Question 4

Which guy wire is recommended for the Fokker E.3?

Accepted Answer

We recommend Kevlar fishing line (it does not stretch).

Question 5

How are the Slow Flyers covered?

Accepted Answer

Classic Japanese paper (17 gr / m²) is used for covering.
Pre-treatment of the aircraft model with pore filler is recommended.
Apply diluted tension varnish sparingly several times.

The covering must be soaked with thinner and completely removed.
Realign and re-cover the model.

The wheels are not included in the kit as a finished part. They must be made (see assembly instructions).

Do I have to solder the motor or battery?

Yes, but please do not use a soldering iron with more than 6 watts.
It should also have a fine soldering tip.
Soldering experience required.

The propellers and spinners shown on the P-51D do not correspond to the kit contents!

Suitable transmitters are e.g. Futaba T6K, Spektrum DXS and Flysky FS046 i6X (all not available from us).
Please pay attention to the sender and receiver protocol.

How do I connect transmitter to receiver?

Examples for Spektrum transmitters:
Step 1: The distance between transmitter and receiver must be at least 1 meter.
Step 2: Connect the receiver to the battery. Wait about 10 seconds. (The receiver's blinking rhythm changes.)
Step 3: Switch on the transmitter in binding mode. After a few seconds, the flashing rhythm changes to On. The transmitter and receiver are now connected.

In normal operation, the transmitter is always switched on first. Then the receiver.

When switching off, first switch off the receiver, then the transmitter.

Troubleshooting:
Wi-Fi signals, mobile phones and other electronic devices can interfere with the connection.
Please find a better location and reconnect.

Our slow flyers have a higher base speed than the commonly flown EPP foam models.

The prices stated on our website always include the applicable local VAT, if applicable.

For international customers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), where VAT is not charged (0% VAT), the displayed price remains unchanged. Therefore, no additional deductions or discounts will be applied to the total price.

Example:
A private customer in Australia orders a model from us, which is shipped to Australia. Since Australia is outside the EEA, no German VAT is charged (0%). Nevertheless, the price paid by the customer corresponds exactly to the price stated on the website, with no deductions.
