Airplane history:
The Etrich pigeon was a very light single-engine sports & school aircraft . Its inventor Igo Etric h was Austrian and developed this two-seater aircraft for the German Air Force, among others.
The remarkable thing about this aircraft is that it was one of the first aircraft to be mass- produced.
In the period from 1910 to 1918, over 250 aircraft of this model were created in Berlin, which gave the Etrich Taube the nickname "Rumpler Taube".
The development of the wings goes back to the nature and shape of the seeds of the tropical plant called Zanonia macrocarpa from Java.
The aircraft was initially intended to serve as a glider, but was then fully motorized in 1909 using an aircraft engine from Porsche (60 hp).
Only very light natural materials such as wood, tensioning materials and bamboo sticks were used for the construction.
Despite the absence of ailerons and wing flaps, the aircraft was very stable in the air; however, rapid flight maneuvers were not possible.

- 3 x balsa wood sheets, 1 x plywood sheet
- 2 x carbon rod, 1 x hinge fleece, 2 x rubber sheath for wheels
- 2 x micro screw, 6 x mini magnet
- 1 x covering material (Japanese paper, 17 gr per m²)
- NOT WITH IT: stickers (like the German military cross in the picture), electronics, components
