  • The Gö 3 “Minimoa” was a high-performance glider developed in the mid-1930s by the German company Schempp-Hirth in Göppingen.

Its distinctive gull-wing design improved handling and brought it great success in early gliding competitions.

Before the Second World War, she set several altitude and distance records and enjoyed a high reputation among glider pilots.

Production was interrupted by the outbreak of war, but the Minimoa concept influenced many modern designs after 1945.

Today, only a few surviving examples exist, and they can be regularly seen in museums and at vintage aircraft air shows.
