  • The Fokker Dr.I was a German triplane fighter aircraft introduced in 1917 during World War I.

    It became famous above all through the legendary pilot Manfred von Richthofen, also known as “The Red Baron”.

    Despite its lower speed compared to some opponents, it impressed with its exceptional maneuverability and climbing ability.

    However, due to technical problems and comparatively low production numbers, its service life remained relatively short.

    Some faithful replicas and remnants of the original machines can be seen today in museums and at air shows.
