  • The P-51D Mustang was an American long-range fighter & fighter-bomber . It was used as a two-seater in World War II and during the Korean War.

This aircraft originated from the collaboration between North American Aviation & the Royal Air Force. The hunter was finally manufactured in 1940 and flew for the first time on October 26th.

P-51D is a model in which back then the Allison V-1710 engine was no longer installed, but a Rolls Royce Merlin or Packard V-1650-7.

Through this upgrade, the aircraft model developed its full strength and could have a total of six 12.7mm machine guns on board.
