SUN XXIV tugboat kit, 1:20 scale, dimensions 720 × 180 × 270 mm, Tony Ray
The SUN XXIV is a highly detailed model kit of a classic tugboat in 1:20 scale. With a length of 720 mm, the model combines a compact design with numerous characteristic details of historic harbor and work vessels.
The distinctive hull, the raised wheelhouse, the central funnel and the open work area give the model the typical appearance of a traditional British tugboat from the mid-20th century.
The kit is designed for functional RC assembly. Operation requires a remote control with at least two channels, a standard servo weighing approximately 43g, a 380-size brushed motor, a 30A speed controller, and a suitable 2S battery.
With its robust construction and true-to-scale design, the SUN XXIV is suitable both for use on the water and as an attractive display model. The 1:20 scale allows for detailed design of the deck, wheelhouse, and other superstructure.
